Class names in romanian

I want to know your opinion about the following: Translate Class Names in Romanian or not ?

Pros and cons
Pictogram plus.png Pros Pictogram minus.png Cons
  • A fully translated wiki (and game)
  • A final clarification
  • Some of the class names are perfecly in Romanian
  • Romanian language comes to help users, not to subsituate English
  • Some class names may sound stupid at first

Game has all classes untranslated, this can change since I'm STS Moderator.

How would classes sound in Romanian

  • Scout -> Cercetaş (sound a bit stupid, cercetaş hints to something like this link)
  • Soldier -> Soldat (works)
  • Pyro -> Piroman (works)
  • Demoman -> Demolator (works)
  • Heavy -> Gras (direct translation of fat, may not work very well)
  • Engineer -> Inginer (works)
  • Sniper -> Lunetist (works)
  • Medic -> Medic
  • Spy -> Spion (works)

Scout means something odd in English too, it's a youth thing, and they do campfires etc, so that works. Rest seem fine. But you should get them in-game first.  – Smashman (talk) 21:26, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
Valve Answer: "Absolutely up to you - in German for example I kept all the names of the charcaters." -- Nightbox (t s) 21:27, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
Smashman is apparently unfamiliar with the proper definition of Scout, as in one who runs ahead and gathers information on the battlefield - like the Scout. -- Nineaxis Duck Gib.png 21:32, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

wikipedia:Scout (disambiguation) "The term scout originally referred to a soldier performing reconnaissance and support duties. In English, it is used in many other contexts." --Underyx 11:30, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
I would vote for CONS.It sounds stupid and romanians learned them in english.They are not hard names to spell. BadeAce (talk) 03:07, 4 January 2015 (PST)
