File:Tf win multiplegames.jpg Dynasty

Win 20 games.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: Simply play until you have won 20 games. If you find a good team and stick with them, this should happen in no time.

File:Tf burn playersinminimumtime.jpg Flamethrower

Set five enemies on fire in 30 seconds.

Difficulty: Medium

How to: This should be a fairly easy one to get if you rush into an enemy base with an ÜberCharging Medic. 30 seconds is a pretty long time when it comes to combat, so it should come eventually.

File:Tf get headshots.jpg Grey Matter

Get 25 Headshots as a Sniper.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: Play a map where you can get a view of the battle lines quickly, such as the second cap of Dustbowl Stage 3 or 2fort, find a nice, non-exposed spot, preferably somewhere that doesn't leave your back exposed and fire away. Aim for slow moving targets such as Heavies or Soldiers to make the Headshot easier. Playing "Sniper wars" on 2fort or specialized Sniper maps are a good way to build up your Headshot count. This achievement can also be achieved as a Spy by using the Ambassador.

File:Tf get consecutivekills nodeaths.jpg Hard To Kill

Get five kills in a row without dying.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: Simply spend a reasonable amount of time in-game and this should happen incidentally. If you are new, it may be easier to use a straightforward offensive class for this such as the Heavy or Soldier. Pyros can also work very well. Another tactic could be to play as a defensive Engineer, as long as you keep your equipment running without dying you should easily be able to rack up five kills.

File:Tf get multiplekills.jpg Hardcore

Accumulate 1000 total kills. This one announces progress in 250 kill blocks as you progress.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: This should occur incidentally after a modest amount of playtime. If you are having trouble racking up the kills, then choose classes which specialise in straightforward offense such as the Heavy or Soldier.

File:Tf play game everyclass.jpg Head of the Class

Play a complete round with every class.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: Tick them off as you do them to ensure none are missed

One way to get this really fast is to play Arena constantly, and switch class after every round, which are always very short.

Note- You must be there at the start and the end of play as the same class and have remained as the same class all through the game.

File:Tf win dustbowl noenemycaps.jpg Impenetrable Defense

Successfully defend Dustbowl without giving up a capture.

Difficulty: Hard

How to: This one is very hard, as the initial Control point on the map is much closer to the attacking team's respawn room than to the defending team's. As a consequence, without Teleporter support from defending Engineers, the BLU attackers can usually swarm the defenders and take the point before respawned reinforcements can arrive for the defending RED team. As such it would be wise to choose the Engineer class and get teleporters up as soon as possible, as well as a strategically placed sentry. If there are already Engineers on your team attending this, then choose a defense class, ideally the Demoman and personally keep the point secure until the timer runs down.

File:Tf win gravelpit noenemycaps.jpg Impossible Defense

Successfully defend Gravel Pit without giving up a capture.

Difficulty: Hard

How to: Another difficult shutout achievement. Due to the open nature of the map, defending all three points can be difficult for the RED team. The key to this is to balance your defense: Keep a couple of Engineers at Point A as well as a few offensive classes to back them up, as this is the point the defense usually gives over in favor of fortifying Point B. Keep an effective defense at both these points and you should eventually achieve a shutout. It helps to play with a well-organized team via voice chat if you can.

File:Tf win well minimumtime.jpg Lightning Offense

Win Well in 5 minutes or less.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: Due to the brief nature of the control point matches on Well, this should happen incidentally if you are lucky enough to be paired up with a marginally effective team.

File:Tf get healed byenemy.jpg Master of Disguise

Trick an opposing Medic into healing you.

Difficulty: Medium

How to: Due to the addition of Medic achievements which involve killing Spies who call for Medic and killing people with the bonesaw as well as the addition of the Übersaw, a strike from which will fill a whopping 25% of the Medic's ÜberCharge meter, this achievement has become somewhat more dangerous for the hopeful Spy. Due to this, try and receive healing from the enemy Medic during an attack if possible. If the Medic suspects you, cloak and run away. If he gives you a short burst of healing, that's all you need. Pretending to make a charge at the 'enemy' is also another good way to trick unwitting Medics into healing you. You can attempt to follow this up and try to get the "FYI I am a Spy" or "Insurance Fraud" achievements.

File:Tf kill nemesis.jpg Nemesis

Get five Revenge kills.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: This is another achievement which should happen incidentally after a certain amount of play time. Try choosing classes that are effective counters against the class your nemesis favours.

File:Tf win 2fort noenemycaps.jpg Powerhouse Offense

Win 2Fort with a shutout.

Difficulty: Medium

How to: This should happen incidentally at some point if you are paired up with a good team or against a poor one after some time playing the 2fort. It helps to set up a good defense early if you don't want to let your opponents get an initial capture via regular or Scout rushing. Consider going Engineer for the round.

File:Tf win hydro noenemycaps.jpg Relentless Offense

Win Hydro without giving up a capture.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: This one is easy, as the Territorial Control style of the map means that simply winning the map without giving up your single control point will count as a shutout. Just keep playing until you win a match.

File:Tf get turretkills.jpg Sentry gunner

Accumulate 10 Sentry gun kills with a single turret.

Difficulty: Medium

How to: Build your Sentry gun in a place that is both well-trafficked and fairly unexposed such as the plaza in 2fort or the alcove in Dustbowl Stage 3 Cap 1. If possible, build near another Engineer who can help repair your gun should you be killed or in need of assistance and enlist a friendly Pyro to Spy check for you. Do not build in locations that provide a window for Demomen to fire Sticky bombs and Soldiers to fire rockets at you.

File:Tf get healpoints.jpg Team Doctor

Accumulate 25000 heal points as a Medic.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: Simply spend a reasonable amount of time as Medic healing and this should happen eventually.

File:Tf play game friendsonly.jpg With Friends Like these...

Play a game with 7 or more players from your friends list.

Difficulty: Hard

How to: This is one of the rarest achievements among players as shown by Valve statistics, due to the fact it almost never occurs incidentally in public rooms. Try joining a clan of regular players or organizing this achievement with a group of people online. Alternatively, enable Steam community features ingame and add everyone already on the server to your friends during a game, and you'll get the achievement when the map finishes.

Note- You must play a full round with all 7 players remaining for the duration to unlock this achievement.

File:Tf play game everymap.jpg World Traveler

Play a complete game on every map.

Difficulty: Easy

How to: Simply play a game on every default map: Dustbowl, Well (ctf or cp), 2fort, Gravel Pit, Granary, Goldrush, Badlands and Hydro.

Note- If you join a game part-way through you will not be credited with playing a game on that map; You must be there at the start and the end of play.
