vs Scoutnew tfc.png
Scout
(match-ups)
A enemy Scout is often hard to hit due to his high speed and concussion jumps and can deal little damage to you or your allies, so distracting him or slowing him down with a bodyshot may be more useful than actually attempting to kill him. If he does move in a predictable direction, such as straight towards you, a quick headshot can still be useful. However, even the Scout can easily defeat you at close range, as his Single-Barrel Shotgun and extra Nailgun ammo can outperform you. If he can make it to your sniping position, try and take him down with your Auto Rifle.

A dual between you and a enemy Sniper can be decided in just one shot, so focus on predicting the enemy Sniper's movements while remaining mobile yourself. Remember to always focus on eliminating a enemy Sniper the moment you see him - even if you only manage to get him to back off momentarily, you will be denying the enemy team cover from afar and enable your team to close in with more ease.

vs Heavynew tfc.png
Heavy
(match-ups)
From a distance, a Heavy's weapons deal pathetic damage and will enable you to sniper freely, as his large size, slow speed and high damage output makes him a viable target. However, if he is able to manoeuvre his way to your sniping spot or even get within medium range of you, his Assault Cannon will shred you to pieces in seconds. If he does get up in your gills, throw a Grenade at him as a distraction and just run - don't even try to fight him, as your Auto Rifle and Nailgun will deal pitiful damage compared to his large health pool.

vs Pyronew tfc.png
Pyro
(match-ups)
You completely overpower the Pyro from long range, as so long as you can dodge her Incendiary Cannon blasts, she has no way of effectively fighting back - her Single-Barrel Shotgun may have a tighter spread than the Double-Barrel Shotgun, but it deal rather low damage. At medium or close range, she overpowers you with her Flamethrower and Napalm Grenades, as you have little power in a direct firefight. If she reaches your sniping spot, throw a grenade at her and try to bring her down with your Auto Rifle or Nailgun.

Sniper
vs Spynew tfc.png
Spy
(match-ups)
Due to your potential to one-shot any class in the game from a distance with your Sniper Rifle, a Spy will typically regard you as a high priority target. Because you will frequently be focused on aiming at targets that are far away, you may not notice when he’s behind you with his Knife. His Hallucination Grenades can seriously disrupt your aim and concentration whilst his Double-Barrel Shotgun outperforms your Auto Rifle and his Tranquiliser Gun can significantly slow you down. Stay aware of your surroundings and Spy check any suspicious teammates that get too close, and, if possible, stay close enough to your team that they can provide assistance. If you manage to encounter a Spy, throw a Grenade at him and kite him with your Auto Rifle or Nailgun, and be sure to keep the fight out of melee range.

vs Engineernew tfc.png
Engineer
(match-ups)
An Engineer will typically be holed up indoors, so the two of you will rarely encounter each other. However, if he makes the mistake of building out in the open, you'll be able to easily overpower him. A fully-charged shot can instantly destroy any Level 1 building and do major damage to Level 2 and even Level 3 buildings. Put pressure on the Engineer by standing outside the range of his equipment and hitting them with charged shots. However, if an Engineer manages to close the distance, his Double-Barrel Shotgun and EMP Grenades have a huge advantage over your Auto Rifle and Frag Grenades. If he does get close, backpedal whilst firing your Auto Rifle or Nailgun, and maybe throw in a Grenade or two.
