Something went wrong

Yeah so even after an hour of this stuff it's still odd. Any ideas? Darkid (Talk | contribs) 14:24, 29 April 2012 (PDT)

Edit--fixed! Thanks, FreeXMan!

Change in placement

There have been quite a few edits where people have added "X is a variant of Y" to a map's intro. I feel like this could be solved by making this template more obvious. I propose we either put it under the quotation and above the lead or we put it above the "contributed to the Workshop" line. The second option would require removing the Hatnote from the template.

I prefer the first one. - BrazilianNut (talk) 15:35, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

I prefer the current format. For me, a hatnote should always be on the very top, especially when we are talking about "this may not be the page you are looking for".
This reminds me of the Wikipedia links like "This article is about X. For this thing, see Y."

Suggestion for a drastic change in format

What if, instead of a sentence naming the game mode and theme variations of the map somwhere around the description, the template created a list of the variants that was added to See also? Here's an example:

See also

  • Galleria's variants:
    • Nucleus (Arena)
    • Nucleus (King of the Hill)
    • Nucleus VSH

Opinions? - BrazilianNut (talk) 15:49, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

I personally don't like this idea because I think this information is more important than putting it in the "See also" section.
