About undoing recent changes.

It'd be a great idea to, instead of immediately undoing the edit because you assume it's incorrect, you A. Check the topic at hand out yourself, and/or B. at least look at the changes, as not all of them are just adding in small parts of advice, but are also fixing grammar. Did you know

<math>Insert formula here</math> I will read them but I thought that it was rather interesting The preceding unsigned comment was added by Krazy4golf (talk) • (contribs)

To you yes, however it was a rather obvious trivia. Takes 5-10 minutes to play on Degroot Keep to figure it out. :) Ashes 09:09, 13 November 2012 (PST)

I added a new fact hopes this one works

Can you help me

Im trying to create my page can you put a user info box in for me The preceding unsigned comment was added by krazy4golf (talk) • (contribs)

(Talk page stalker) Just add {{User infobox}} to your page. Darkid (talk|contribs) 12:45, 13 November 2012 (PST)

Adding unusual info

Hmm... well... oh dear. Before I get to work undoing all that (help would be appreciated, my computer is slow), can you give me a link to this page? -Zykx 12:54, 15 November 2012 (PST)

Ah, I was wondering if you meant that page, but I didn't think you did as you mentioned a page which also shows which hats cannot be uncrated in Unusual quality. No problem, I'll continue adding the Unusual tag and I'll pop in on the IRC in a bit. :) -Zykx

For taking over Recent Changes log. And we're talking about ~100 edits here. So here, take this. Now, go for translated pages ;)

-Asplode 13:36, 15 November 2012 (PST)

Please

Do not apply and unusual tags on the /no or /sv pages. I will do them myself because some pages needs to be retranslated/fixed. User Ravecrib9t4 Signature Logo.JPG TNS 01:05, 16 November 2012 (PST)

Alright, Thanks for letting me knowing ahead of time. Ashes 01:06, 16 November 2012 (PST)

Re:Pics

So they are unneeded at pages with lack of both RED and BLU pics in the infobox? --SuperNova123 15:14, 19 November 2012 (PST)

Well, my idea was to showcase how the items looks on the player characters in full size w/transparency. Is there any former discussion about this topic? SuperNova123 15:24, 19 November 2012 (PST)

About [1], why not have the opportunity to choise both colors of the main picture [2] like below?--SuperNova123 15:33, 19 November 2012 (PST)

I guess making approximately 2000 edits in five days is a good reason enough to award you another achievement like this. Now, go take some rest.

User Files

Hello. If you find user files with the wrong name, you can mark them with the {{move}} template instead of the {{delete}} template. User files with the wrong name are only deleted in certain situations.  –  Epic Eric (T | C) 10:49, 13 December 2012 (PST)

Alright, since the policy on naming when uploading stuff: Files that don't follow this naming scheme may be deleted without warning. I'll keep it in mind. Ashes 13:49, 13 December 2012 (PST)
(Talk page stalker)That's the official policy, but it's ok to be a bit nicer at times. Darkid (talk|contribs) 13:53, 13 December 2012 (PST)

RE: Paintability of new promos

Don't ask me, ask whoever put "yes" in the paint field in the infoboxes. -Zykx 16:23, 22 February 2013 (PST)

Okay, firstly, you were the one who created said pages, filling in the paint fields with "yes" despite not knowing whether they were paintable or not... then telling me to "not always believe what's in the infobox".
Secondly, unless you are watching my userpage intently, I like to reply to people's messages on their own userpage where they will get the notification, as is customary for any other wiki I've ever been on. Please tell me where I've gone wrong as I'm not understanding your logic.
-Zykx 16:30, 22 February 2013 (PST)
Noticed that after creating the pages. I'm merely using a copied template I use for new pages. the paintablity option happened to be put as yes instead no by default. Also I'm on the IRC, So user talks are also logged. Thats why I ask if we just keep it on one user talk page. Not blaming you or anything but, just saying if you have doubts check the schema. Ashes 16:33, 22 February 2013 (PST)
Ah, that makes sense. Will do in future. -Zykx 16:40, 22 February 2013 (PST)

Stars and Stripes beats Hammer and Sickle, LOOK IT UP!

This technique could be frowned upon by some, but I go to the gallery of one of the other badges (Usually the Mercenary one) and look at the name of that item. Then go back to the one being edited (Soldier of Fortune in this case) and type out the caption, except replace the badge name in the caption with the subject one. Let me give an example...

Say I didn't know English, yes? I'd look at the Mercenary Gallery, look at the caption, copy it to the Soldier of Fortune Gallery to the right picture, then look at the name of both the Soldier and Fortune and Mercenary. I'd then trim out the "Mercenary" part in the caption and replace it with "Soldier of Fortune" and for class names, simply look in the other gallery, since in these cases, there's one of two galleries that have the class names if I need to write them down.

It seems complicated, but it's actually a little easier as you're doing it. Yes I'm Dominating you. GET USED TO IT[UGS 2nd]Lancer @nti-tank RocketYes I'm Dominating you. GET USED TO IT! 20:32, 28 February 2013 (GMT)

Future reference, Keep it on one talk page. 2nd, Sooo you're basically assuming a translation? Btw I'm talking about the descriptions.
Example:The Scout's Soldier of Fortune medal. -> Die Glücksrittermedaille der Scout. Ashes 12:38, 28 February 2013 (PST)
Sort of. "Assuming" implies I'm using something like Google Translate or whatever. I'm taking the words from the wiki itself, as they appear on a very similar page and recycling them in a sense, for the active editing page. You could argue I'm just banging rocks together here, but I'm not really taking on the full challenge of ripping into the language pages properly and translating them, just cleaning and improving the quality of existing ones a bit. Wait.

You informed me how you spouse to include one item in the update history, but then in the Editor's Summary you say "Nevermind :P". So, you made a mistake? BleedinSkull

There was a bit of confusion there. Ashes was right after all. A Wikipedia article about bananas doesn't have information about apples, does it? Eels 15:21, 28 February 2013 (PST) Signing schmigning

Request for translators

For those who translate, Could you please create language categories for your language: http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Special:WantedCategories

That would be great! Thanks :D Ashes 08:07, 3 March 2013 (PST)

Adding section headers in other languages

Please do not add english section headers ("Painted Variants") etc in other languages. Use {{common string|painted variants}} instead. Darkid (talk|contribs) 19:08, 3 March 2013 (PST)

Attempted the use of common string before. Most languages aren't entered. So just leave em red or just leave em out overall? Ashes 19:12, 3 March 2013 (PST)
Use the common string template. Edit the dictionary to add the strings you found in other languages. Do not, under any circumstance, leave english text on other language pages without a {{update trans}} tag. Darkid (talk|contribs) 19:14, 3 March 2013 (PST)
Mk, Acknowledged. Though gonna have to find the "Correct" translation of it. Only ones I'm really looking for are strange variants, related achievements and damage and functions. If you can help me find em that'd be great. Anyways, Searching time. Ashes 19:16, 3 March 2013 (PST)
Correct translation, only sortof. By adding the dictionary entry, it will allow the translators to settle on a correct translation, and change it easily. Add section headers in {{Dictionary/common strings}} for those three. Darkid (talk|contribs) 19:17, 3 March 2013 (PST)
