'Showmanship' works identically to the [[Hitman's Heatmaker]]'s 'Focus', but of course with different effects. It takes 3 headshots to fully charge the 'Showmanship' meter. The 'Showmanship' meter lasts 10s normally, but this can be extended by 3s with each additional headshot you make while under it's effects.

With apologies to Mozart, who I copied off of to make the first version of this page

If you have any issues or feedback for the weapons on this page, leave a note on the discussion page, and I'll try to get back to you!

Scout

Heifathon 88

Backpack Winger.png
Heifathon 88
Level 1 Off-Brand Ray Pistol
Does not require ammo
On Kill: +10% damage bonus, up to +40%
Cannot be crit boosted

Inspired from what is apparently a fan-made Dr. Grordbort-styled weapon.

The Pshoooes

Backpack Gunboats.png
The Pshoooes
Level 1 Rocket Shoes
Double Jump is replaced with Rocket Dash
Press M3 at any time to run +25% faster for 8 seconds!
+40% recharge time

Inspired and named after "The Pshoooes", a Febuary 2013 Weapon Of The Month for Advanced Weaponizer. Replaces the Pistol. The boost mechanic acts much like Bonk! Atomic Punch, only the recharge is 34 seconds long, instead of 24 seconds.

Pyro

The Fanflare

Aw-Hells bells.png
The Fanflare
Level 1 Flame Thrower
Build 'Huddah' by dealing damage.
Alt-Fire on full 'Huddah': Taunt to gain 75% damage resistance for several seconds.
+25% more vulnerable while 'Huddah' taunting.
Hit the bass drum with every step

It's like the Phlogistinator and the Bootie Time had a kid who took Band class and liked to tryhard! THE HORROR!

Soldier

Speed Demon

Backpack Rocket Launcher.png
Speed Demon
Level 1 Rocket Launcher
When Active :
+40% faster reload rate
+25% faster firing rate
+25% faster move speed on wearer
+20% damage vulnerability on wearer

The 25% move speed bonus increased the Soldier's move speed from 80% to 100%.

The F-Bomb

Aw-Matador.png
The F-Bomb
Level 1 Rocket Launcher
+35% explosion radius
+65% blast damage push force
-40% slower projectile speed
Cannot fire another rocket until the last has exploded

The downsides may be too great on this one. I can't tell.

The Overclocker

Aw-Ragelauncher.png
The Overclocker
Level 1 Rocket Launcher
Hold fire to fill your clip
Release Fire to unleash the barrage
+99% faster firing rate
-33% clip size
+70% slower reload rate
+4 degrees random projectile deviation

This is just the Beggar's Bazooka. Granted, you can load 4 rockets instead of 3, the reload rate is 40% longer, and rockets all fire at the same time instead of shortly after each other, but still. It's just a stronger BB. What's the point? WELL THIS BABY DOESN'T HAVE AN EXPLOSION RADIUS PENALTY! Obviously, your sold now, I can see it in your eyes. I can see it in your smile. I can see it in the way you're bringing your hands to my neck to give me a hug. Wait, no. Your strangling me. Please stop. I need my neck to breath.

Demoman

The Scot's Last Stand

Aw Celtic Clusterer.png
The Scot's Last Stand
Level 1 Cannon
+45% damage bonus
+25% less splash damage falloff
-85% slower reload
Clip size of 1

The Scot's Last Stand is, at first glace, a worse combination of the Loch-n-Load and the Loose Cannon. Sure, there's a pretty nice damage bonus and a bit less blast damage falloff, but the much slower reload and minuscule clip size means you can only fire a single shot once around every 3 seconds. This weapon is meant to be used for area denial, and can best be described as a "Backup Stickybomb Launcher", as it deals about the same damage as 2 stickybombs and can be fired instantly. The single shot and the reload penalty with make this weapon very unattractive to Demomen who prefer to spam, much like the Loose Cannon.

Saturn Saber

Aw Critsmourne the Lifestealer.png
Saturn Saber
Level 1 Alien Blade
Effect: Orbiting Planets
+35% faster firing rate
Kills turn victim into ice
-2 health per second while deployed
This Weapon has a large melee range and deploys and holsters slower
A shortsword forged of Saturn's atmosphere. Unfortunately, this means it has to be kept at a constant −260 degrees Celsius to stay solid. You hands are screwed.
— The original description I wrote for this weapon in 2014

Heavy

Tereshkova

User Jboby1 Goalkeeper.png
Tereshkova
Level 1 Minigun
Shots penetrate players
+10% primary ammo regenerated every 5 seconds
-15% damage penalty

Weapon featured in icon can be found here

I had this weapon idea a few years ago, and posted about it on /r/TF2WeaponIdeas. It shares the name and the "shots penetrate players" attribute of a minigun idea from the now defunct "Biggest Update Ever" page, but that's where the similarities end. The added damage penalty is meant to balance out the strong-but-situational enemy penetration buff. The other buff, a passive 10% primary ammo regeneration, is meant to help Heavies rely less on Engineers and ammo packs. The bonus may also encourage "roamer" play styles, which was not the main intention behind this weapon.

The Recycler

Aw-unknown mgun.png
The Recycler
Level 1 Minigun
Shoots a random projectile each shot
(Rockets, Flares, Pills, and Bison Lasers)
-50% slower firing rate
-60% max primary ammo on wearer

This is probably really stupid, but I've always wanted to use a weapon like this.

The projectile acts how it would when fired from the weapon it comes from. For example, the rocket would ask like it would when shot from a stock RL. The same goes for the flares, GL Pills, and Righteous Bison lasers.

The Tobor Toppler

Backpack Fists of Steel.png
The Tobor Toppler
Level 1 Metal Gloves
+65% damage bonus vs buildings
-20% slower attack rate
While in MvM Mode:
+65% damage bonus

This weapon was originally conceived as a MvM-only weapon, and would revert to reskin of stock in all non MvM gamemodes. This seemed to harsh to me, so I reworked it. Now, its a situational but useful weapon, as it deals extra damage against buildings, but swings slower. I still wanted to keep the MvM-Exclusive bonuses, but I decided to remove them all in favor of a very nice damage bonus.

Engineer

The Jumpstart

User jboby1 megavolt.png
The Jumpstart
Level 1 Shotgun
Teleporters replaced with Speed Pads
Speeds users by up to +40% for a few seconds
Cannot upgrade Speed Pads past level 2

Weapon featured in icon can be found here

Another weapon idea inspired by (stolen from) the now defunct "Biggest Update Ever", this shotgun replaces the incredibly useful Teleporters with "Speed Pads". Two can be placed down at a time. The speed up effect acts identically to the Disciplinary Action's speed boost effect, only it lasts 10 or 15 seconds (depending on the level) opposed to 2. If you couldn't infer from the last sentence, the speed boost lasts longer depending on the Pad's level. The first level boost lasts 10 seconds, and the second level boost lasts 15 seconds. And yes, if you were wondering, those are the only custom stats for the weapon. If not for exchanging your Teleporter for a Speed Pad, this weapon would just be a reskin of the shotgun.

The Tagger

Aw-Texas pickup old.png
The Tagger
Level 1 Tagging Pistol
Alt-fire: Tag an enemy
Tagged enemies take +35% more incoming damage
Tagged enemies glow green and can be seen through walls
Tag automatically breaks after 10 seconds
Can only tag one target at a time
Tagging deals no damage
-50% damage

Useful for spy-checking.

Medic

Cherubim Combustor

Backpack Blutsauger.png
Cherubim Combustor
Level 1 Light Gun
Shoots a ball of pure light that burns targets
+250% damage bonus
-1500% slower firing rate
-70% less primary ammo on wearer
-90% smaller clip size

The "ball of pure light" functions identically to a flare. The seemingly absurd fire rate penalty makes the time between each shot 1.6 seconds in length, which is equal to it's reload rate. It holds only 45 ammo, and has a clip size of 4. This weapon deals 35 points of damage with every hit, not including afterburn.

Die Heilkugel

Aw-Electric assurance.png
Die Heilkugel
Level 1 Medigun
Heals teammates in a small area
-25% slower healing rate
Cannot Übercharge

According to Google Translate, "Die Heilkugel" is German for "The Healing Ball", which would be pretty accurate for this weapon. Instead of healing one patient, the Die Heilkugel heals all team mates in a small area, in an area similar in size to the Amputator's healing taunt. To counteract this, the medigun heals slower, cannot Übercharge, and holsters much slower. Hopefully this will make Medics more valuable and viable in both pushing and defense situations.

The Chilliam William

Aw-Blizzard Builder.png
The Chilliam William
Level 1 Backpack Replacement
ÜberCharge grants 100% slow chance to heal target
+20% ÜberCharge rate
+40% fire damage resistance
-15% slower move speed

The Chilliam William is a combination of two weapon ideas I had. A medigun that gives it's patient the ability to slow down targets, much like the Natascha, and an ice-based weapon to counter Pyros (it would probably be a flare gun, or an "anti-flare gun" in this case). The slower move speed makes the Medic just slightly faster than a Demoman, at 96% speed. This weapon may be favored more for it's fire resistance than it's slowdown capabilities, as the recent Pyro buff against Medics added in the Meet Your Match Update has made Pyros much more of a bane on a Medic's existance. Name is inspired by the "Me, an Intellectual" joke, which is rather prominent on Tumblr at the time of writing. The backpack model is the icon. The medigun itself is unchanged, besides the basic team coloring replaced with "Waterlogged Lab Coat" team coloring.

The Mercy Kill

Backpack Wings of Purity.png
The Mercy Kill
Level 1 Wings
+150% greater jump height
Extend wings to slow descent
No fall damage on wearer
No self healing

It's a replacement for the Medic's most important weapon AND it's an Overwatch joke! What luck!

Sniper

The Big Top Bushman

Aw Laugh-a-Minute.png
The Big Top Bushman
Level 1 Sniper Rifle
Gain 'Showmanship' on headshots
'Showmanship' instantly activates on full charge
While under Showmanship: +50% faster reload
While under Showmanship : Get a team-colored outline that can be seen through walls

'Showmanship' works identically to the Hitman's Heatmaker's 'Focus', but of course with different effects. It takes 3 headshots to fully charge the 'Showmanship' meter. The 'Showmanship' meter lasts 10s normally, but this can be extended by 3s with each additional headshot you make while under it's effects.

The L.M.A.O.

Backpack Machina.png
The L.M.A.O.
Level 1 Tool-Assisted Rifle
While Scoped : Bullets seek out heads in a small radius
On Scoped Shot: -10 health per shot
On Headshot : -25 health
Healing reduced by -90% while active
Cannot fire if health is <25%

The radius is 32 hammer units. If the hitbox of an enemy head enters that area when the shot is fired, they will be headshot. Name and main gimmick inspired by a famous cheating software.

The New Zealand Bug Zapper

Aw theprofession.png
The New Zealand Bug Zapper
Level 1 Lightning Gun
Doesn't need to be reloaded
+33% secondary ammo on wearer
Can arc from target to nearby enemies
This weapon deploys 35% faster

It's an electric gun, inspired by the Short Circuit and the Dr. Grordbort weapons. This electricity-based weapon is meant to cover the Sniper when their perch gets ambushed. The 35% faster deploying rate is meant to reflect this. It's also useful when fighting tight advancing or defending groups, as the small but useful "arc range" or 100 Hammer Units will make this a very nice area-denial tool. Maybe too powerful, considering the Sniper is meant to excel in long-range one-on-one combat. I may have to rework this.

The Crutch

Aw Same Old Shillelagh.png
The Crutch
Level 1 Melee
While active :
All damage is returned as health
-30% damage penalty
-15% slower move speed

Spy

The Smokebombs

Backpack A Whiff of the Old Brimstone.png
The Smokebombs
Level 1 Watch Replacement
On Use: Throw a bomb that detonates after 3 seconds, creating a large smoke explosion
On Explosion: Gain 75% damage resistance from all sources for a short duration
On Explosion : Gain 25% speed boost for a short duration
Wearer cannot cloak
User only has 12 bombs per life

This weapon is meant to replace the Invis Watch. The bombs, although incredibly limited, are rather strong. Leaving large smoke explosions and giving the Spy very strong buffs, this may be a very overpowered weapon. The limitation on bombs, and the fact that only 12 bombs are available per life is meant to make the weapon less viable. Without his classic cloak, the Spy will have to resort to throwing a bomb, quickly donning a disguise, and leaving while he can.

Garcon Bebe

Backpack Photo Badge.png
Garcon Bebe
Level 1 Knife (and Baby Photos)
+75% deploy speed bonus
On Frontal Attack : Victim is forced to laugh
Backstabs does mini-crit damage
When Used vs Enemy Scout : You are Marked for Death. Scout is forced to melee and doesn't laugh.

You show Scout's baby photos to the enemy team. It makes them laugh, because Scout has barely changed throughout the years. Scout just gets pissed, so you probably shouldn't have showed them to him.

Counterintelligence Credentials

Backpack Disguise Kit.png
Counterintelligence Credentials
Level 1 Folder
Sentry detention delayed while undisguised
Can be healed by enemy Dispensers while undisguised
Fragile Disguise - Any damage received removes your disguise

Based on the workshop weapon of the same name

The first attribute means that Sentries will wait 2 seconds before detecting you, allowing you to stab the Engineer and not immediately get shot at by a sentry.

The Scanner

Backpack Giger Counter.png
The Scanner
Level 1 Scanner (Duh)
On Use: Scans map for nearby enemies and randomly disguises as one
+50% faster disguise rate
Cannot disguise normally
This weapon deploys +60% slower
This weapon holsters +35% slower

I posted a similar concept on /r/TF2WeaponIdeas a few years ago, but it was seriously underpowered. So, I decided to buff it. After that I nerfed it because the buff was too strong.

Multi-Class

The Fler Kulor

Aw-Warlordswinchester.png
The Fler Kulor
Level 1 Shotgun
+67% ammo capacity
+30% bullets per shot
-34% clip size
The Swedes have done it again!

"Fler Kulor" translates to "More Bullets" in Swedish (according to Google), and MAN does this weapon live up to it's name! With a much larger ammo pool and more bullets per shot, this weapon is meant to be viable shotgun replacement comparable to the Scout's Force-A-Nature. The "-34% clip size" will reduce this weapon's clip size to 4, from the original 6. This may not be enough, so I may have to increase this, or even change it to a more costly downside.

The Kraftig 83

Backpack Pistol.png
The Kraftig 83
Level 1 One-Of-A-Kind Raygun
Shoots a heavy, high-powered laser ball
Damage quickly lessens over a short radius
+500% maximum damage
-75% minimum damage
+35% damage vulnerability on wearer

Based on a Dr. Grordbort weapon. Falloff radius is roughly equal to the range of the Buff Banner.

The Leveler

Aw-Lever rifle.png
The Leveler
Level 1 Leveling Shotgun
This weapon levels up every 350 damage dealt
Level 1 : +45% faster reloading
Level 2 : +15% move speed bonus
Level 3 : 25% chance to ignite target on hit
-67% clip size
-20% damage penalty

I'm going to level with you. This probably isn't a good mechanic.
