    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
    • You can use the Signature Icon.png button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.

Hey :)

I saw that you didn't know how to change the text for a Halloween Achievement.

While I sorted that out, I thought I'd show you how to change things like that in the future.

You need to go edit the template, which you can find here: Template:Dictionary.

Whether it's achievements, a table, infobox, weapon stats, crafting blueprint or an item name, you can find the translations here and add the "es" if any are missing, as I just did recently with your Halloween Achievements Desc.

Hope this will help you in the future, happy translating!

Just a head up!

Remember to utilise the "preview"-button and read through everything before saving a page, so you don't have to make 4-5 consecutive edits on the same one.
Happy translating.

Question regarding you translations

Heyo, Curious here. I've noticed you have been doing some translations however one this that bugs me is, that you are doing translations for multiple languages... May I ask on how you are translating them to begin with....? Ashes (talk) 18:57, 6 March 2016 (PST)

After checking your translation, You are using Google Translate. I'd like to point out that the TF2 Wiki has 0 tolerance for Google Translations. I will be marking all your translation for deletion. If you continue to use Google translate for translations, you will be blocked from the Wiki. Ashes (talk) 21:54, 6 March 2016 (PST)
Please switch your language settings on Steam; the achievement and item translations are exactly as they appear there. FlimsyBobby (talk) 22:11, 6 March 2016 (PST)
I'm speaking mainly of the other translations. Considering the fact that they match word by word, is the main issue. I have no issues with your Spanish translation. If you are translating, please stick to your native language as we want to avoid complications with the other language translators.

Ashes (talk) 22:14, 6 March 2016 (PST)

I'm wondering what edits made you think I was using Google Translate, because I don't see any errors or typos on those pages. It just seems to be "jumping the gun" to be getting rid of all of those edits, especially when most of them are taken directly from Steam's translations. FlimsyBobby (talk) 22:41, 6 March 2016 (PST)
Specifically the categories ones. I actually took the time to check them as i noticed you mainly stuck on Spanish pages for the time being then started jumping to other languages... Usually when we catch several edits under google translations, we make the assumption all are, however i did check all your spanish ones and those seem fine. I wouldn't really say its "jumping the gun" when I actually took the time to run through each one manually. Again, if you're going to translate, please keep to your native language as even the Steam translations can be changed, hence why we'd rather have native translators review/modify their respective pages. Once you start making some translation errors, then you're at fault. As mentioned before, its to prevent complications. Ashes (talk) 22:44, 6 March 2016 (PST)

I must ask you not to simply copy and paste the sections from the NPC articles to create the Miss Pauling articles. Regarding disambiguation pages

Hi there, I just saw your recent translation and I think I've witnessed a mistake you made.

The disambiguation page Essentials exists because there are two items in the game that share the word "essentials" so it makes sense to create a disamb page for that. In your case however, the items don't share any word and can't be confused, rendering the disambiguation page entirely useless since nobody would profit from grouping entirely different items. In the future, please translate disambiguation pages only if

  1. It's not about the item names, but a characteristic, e.g. a page for "Shirts" would make sense for every language.
  2. The items actually do share some words in your language.

Since I'm not a Spanish speaker, I could be wrong regarding the Essentials/es page, but my advice stands nonetheless. Thank you. { TidB | t | c | wt } 16:20, 28 March 2016 (PDT)
