Talk:Mannhattan

I'd like to add this line but am unsure whether to add it to the main body or simply as a note, or at all: "A unique system this map uses is the path selection. There are 2 paths on this map: one where bots flank the hatch on 3 sides. If both gates are captured each path will be used for their own bomb. The other path goes down the center, over the bridge. Paths are chosen by the mission's population file using their 'InitWaveOutput' keyvalue each wave." Any advice? Meatloaf97 (talk) 14:54, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

Can most likely be added into the paragraph that talks about what happens when gates get captured (Assuming what you're saying means that once a gate gets captured, an additional path will be used for a different bomb).

Not exactly. every wave in a mannhattan popfile has an InitWaveOutput that either triggers holograms_3way_relay or holograms_centerpath_relay. Both relays reset the gate and etc but also toggle holograms and nav related entities for the duration of the wave. bots will travel like this, unchanged until after rounding gate b: https://prnt.sc/uRkNBBVc4Ory. The bombs enabled after each gate capture will tell the bot who carries it which side path to take if its 3way, and will not if its center path Meatloaf97 (talk) 15:26, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

Gate B alarm not working

The alarm for Gate A works as normal, but for some reason the alarm for Gate B never sounds, even if the gatebots are capturing it. I've encountered this problem on both community and offical Valve servers. Does anyone else have this issue? Dan the mann (talk) 03:06, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
