On your recent edits

Hello, Hitruga777.

Sorry to inform you this, but your recent edits have been reverted. I'd like to explain why in better detail here, as the summary offers a much more limited space to do so.

First, you were inserting text in English to pages in Russian (/ru). You were also technically inserting information to a translated page that is missing from the root (English) article, as such a note was not present in the root article of any of the translations you added it to. The best way to add information to articles is to add it to the root article first, wait a while to see if it's accepted, and then add it to translations if applicable. The only kind of information that can be present in a translation while missing from the root article or vice versa is if it only applies to one of either language (such as a reference in the item's name that is either gained or lost in translation, like the Pain Train's name in Brazilian Portuguese being a reference to the song Waters of March).

Second, you were inserting information that was already present somewhere in the article (this might seem contradictory with what was stated above, but please keep reading). The item infobox already has an availability field that lists all the possible ways an item can be obtained; special notes in the article are only present if there are special ways for the item to be obtained (such as an achievement unlocking it or a promotion granting it in Genuine quality). In the case of the "Cosmetic items" article (which lacks the item infobox), the information that cosmetic items are not granted as random drops to players with free accounts was already mentioned at the end of the third paragraph; also, stating that cosmetic items are "not available to f2p player" is technically false, as such players can still obtain achievement cosmetics like the Pyrovision Goggles and the Bombinomicon.

Cheers, and welcome to the Team Fortress Wiki. – BrazilianNut (Talk) 10:07, 5 October 2025 (UTC)

As BrazilianNut mentioned, but I want to emphasise, it is not noted whether or not items can be obtained by players with a certain account type.
