{{Outdent}} My understanding was these existed only as consistent link points for games mentioned on the wiki. AFAICT, these games are not mentioned in the main space, curiously enough. We only document other games if they are directly relevant to Team Fortress or have promotional items. This page, along with the ones for Left 4 Dead and Counter-Strike, offer no value to this wiki. I'd suggest either reverting the "split" or just redirecting/deleting them. — Tark 20:35, 5 September 2024 (UTC)

I can see the reasoning behind it, and if we do decide to keep it as-is we would have to feature other games from Valve as well. I think to avoid that, simply merging the pages into a series page rather than their own pages (see Half-Life) is what I prefer.

Half-Life being a page about the game series and having a "buy now" link for the first game is a bad example imo. It should either be a page about the first Half-Life game or a page about the series (which should list all games in the Half-Life series and moved/renamed to "Half-Life series").
I understand the rationale of having a page for game series, but they are simply not relevant. We would never consider documenting all the Witcher games just because of the promo item from The Witcher 2. And I see no point in making an exemption for Valve games either (we could definitely make a list of Valve somewhere but that's a talk for another day :^)).
Game pages are mostly used as "hubs" for the promo items. Making a page for Portal 2 has value: it links to all Portal 2-themed items, has a basic description of the game and some relevant links. In contrast, a page for Portal 1 could be reduced to a brief text passage within the Portal 2 article. — Tark 21:37, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
imo it would either be for the entire series (the articles have existed for quite a while now, I don't see much reason to not keep them for legacy reasons) or the irrelevant games would be deleted entirely. I prefer the merge, but would support the deletion otherwise.

I'm with Tark, delete them. We don't have a bunch of pages covering Lara Croft: Relic Run or Worms Pinball. They're not relevant to Team Fortress and they shouldn't be here on the wiki. I don't see much reason to keep them for legacy reasons. Mediarch User Mediarch PFP.pngTalkMy Edits 01:05, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
Pictogram plus.png  I'd vote for these articles to be deleted... as mentioned before, they add no value to wiki. YossefTalk 10:16, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
