contradiction between pages

it says that it adds 10% per head to base charge damage, yet in the page about charging (https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Charging) it says it adds +10 damage to charge per head, which would be 20%, is this a mistake?

"The Eyelander was added to the crafting blueprint for the Bushwacka"

There was a problem with the date for this patch, as the update history claimed it happened on September 20, 2010 with the Mann-Conomy Update as an undocumented change. Thing is, the Mann-Conomy launched on September 30, not 20. I checked the pages for both patches (20 and 30) and this is not listed on either of them.

As I don't know how to check when this happened, there's no way for me to decide under which patch to place this change under, so I've moved it to the unknown dates at the bottom of the update history for now. If anyone could look into this, it would be much appreciated. - BrazilianNut (talk) 15:08, 31 August 2025 (UTC)

You can check it if there's a diff present, the items_game.txt contains crafting recipes.

"Soldier neck model"

I tried digging through the files, and saw nothing related to a soldier neck model. While it'd be cool to have decapitation models pre-TF2Classic, it doesn't seem to be real. Ziilus (talk) 02:08, 15 November 2025 (UTC)

It is entirely possible that the model was present in the files at the time but has been removed.

Might there be a leaked file of it somewhere? I say this before looking, but it'd be a shame if it were removed, since I was going to attempt to mod it back in. I would prefer not to download something off a leak dump but if that's the last location I can find it in, I wouldn't be bothered looking for it.

Your best bet is to download an old depot of the game from SteamDB if possible. You'll have to look up how, but I'm not entirely sure which version of the game it would be in. This edit from 27 July 2010 implies that the model was corrected to only be Soldier's model, which means it may have still been in the game at that point. This edit from 15 July 2010 is the original addition of the trivia. Try downloading depots from there.
