Remove specifics on exploit?
I noticed GrampaSwood removing specifics on how to exploit bugs. Should the same apply to the Resupply ceiling bug (currently the last point in Bugs)? — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 04:03, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- It's already worded pretty vaguely and doesn't really explain how to execute it. I'm the person that added the bug and I specifically let out some bits to prevent it being exploited. Not really sure what specifics could be removed without removing the bug entirely. Mediarch

- Removing the mention of ceiling, instead saying "a specific spot." Like, "The final spawn locker can be accessed from outside the room in a specific spot." And maybe remove the <ref> as well, leaving it in the edit reason (not sure this one is necessary, tho). — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 04:17, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- I think the current wording is fine myself but other people may see it different. I don't think "specific spot" really would prevent someone figuring it out if you tell them it's a bug related to the final spawn locker. The bottom of the spawn locker is the only location that would really make any sense as far as being potentially accessible (the wall directly behind the locker specifically juts out and all other parts of the locker are nowhere near anything reachable). Even with the video reference of me executing the bug it still requires a little extra knowhow for it to actually work. That's just my two cents. I'll let other people weigh in though. Mediarch

- Specifics on how to reproduce bugs should be removed if these bugs can be easily exploited. If the video shows how to do it, then it may be better to be removed or commented out next to it instead, but IIRC the steps to reproduce this bug are not as easy as simply jumping there.
