I want the old style of talk page back, this new thing sucks.
The things you described are very interesting, however you didn't provided any evidences, especially about that footage. Do you have a copy of this video?
I did provide evidence for most things in the form of source code citations, which is good enough. As for the video, check the history of the Mini-Dispenser article. The link is in there. I had to remove it at the request of testinglol_fp whose stream it was that VNN was watching.
Okay, i've got your answer (for some reason it doesn't appear in there, but whatever). So yeah, the more I'm lurking into leaked TF2 code, the more I'm making sure that everything is true. There's much code about mini-dispenser in dispenser.cpp file, for example. So, I also have discovered a flie "boss_alpha.cpp", where the behavior of this scrapped boss is described. There's no "Level 4 Mecha Sentry" name however, only a link to "models/bots/boss_sentry/boss_sentry.mdl". So probably it's incorrect name, actually I don't know much about that, but still, maybe we should create an article about boss_alpha and include information about Knight and Mecha Sentry in there.
"Mecha Level 4 Sentry" is a name provided by testinglol. I can ask him where he got the name from. Article already exists for it with all the sound filenames from reslists. Toss any other info up there.
As you may know, the Creators.TF page has been removed with the reason being "Fully deprecated: Not notable per community site policy and talk page, try again when valve has an event or references it".
I would like to know if you plan on doing a Creators.TF page as a sub-page on your UserPage. If so, tell me so I can restore the page and move to use your username as a prefix for the page (e.g.: User:404UNF/Creators.TF).
If not, I'll be removing all images previously featured on the Creators.TF page because they are no longer being used. Is that okay to you?
I've saved all images to my computer as a backup, in case the page is restored someday on the Wiki.
Messaged you over IRC, but yeah, subpage it. I can self-host it in my userspace for fun.
Alright then. I haven't been in the IRC for a while (despite being online all the time, I don't have the actual client open). I'll restore the page under the same name I've previously stated, you may want to change it later if you want.
About the issue with the Scooty Scoot page.
First of all, key differences between moped and scooter (according to British, USA and Russian law, for a reference) are the engine displacement (mopeds are below 50cc, motor scooters are in 50-250cc range) and max speed (up to 30-40 mph and 60-75 mph respectively), but neither of this can be applied to a videogame entry for obvious reasons. I'd like to add some external links as proofs here, but new topics design for Talk Pages doesn't allow me to do so, as it requires to solve some captcha but doesn't show it at ll. Just google something like 'moped and scooter differences', if you want.
However, there is design feature which can be taken as point of reference here: classic moped design is basically a motorised bycicle (hence the name, MOtor+PEDals), and scooter is having a step-through chassis and footrest platform. Of course, nowadays some mopeds are also have some sort of cover case, but we're talking about 1960-70s, when their design was quite different — for a further references look at classical Peugeot 104 or Vespa Boxer mopeds and compare them to the Vespa and Lambretta scooters, for an example, Vespa Super Sprint or Lambretta Li Special.
Besides that, neither file nor item name should be used as strict and direct reference, unless they're quite specific, as they can be choosen by the means of the comedy or simplicity/length.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with the non-appearing talk page captchas issue. Thought maybe my Pihole was interfering. Regardless, a trivia note could be added noting that the model resembles a scooter but due to the files labelling it as a moped it's probably best to keep it as such. Again, a trivia note about it being more of a scooter than a moped would probably be cool.
