- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page, you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- You can use the
button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.

- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User LunaireKitty to the file's name.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:LunaireKitty/ to the page title when you create the page.

Quotations
Hi there,
Please see our quotes style guide. Not all articles need voice lines as their quote, a publicity blurb serves just fine as a quote at the top of the article. Generally, a quote that is more directly related to the subject is more fitting than a quote that's entirely reliant on its description to fit (also note that not all quotes need a description, it could just be "- The Spy" rather than "- The Spy, on his new X"). For example, the Macho Mann quote was a rather generic quote which can fit on any cosmetic item article that the Scout can equip because cosmetic items are generally worn if people think they look better, but re-using the same type of quote on every article (for example, "Looking good"-type quotes on cosmetic item articles) results in it becoming very boring and monotonous. | s | GrampaSwood

Spirit of Giving images
Hi there,
When uploading images, remember to give it the appropriate category. If you can't find one, try looking at other images to see what they've added. For this image, the category would be Category:Cosmetic images. Additionally, the license should be {{ScreenshotTF2}}
and not {{ExtractTF2}}
.
Also remember to give it descriptive names. Something like "Smallest.png" and "Biggest.png" don't really describe much. Better names would be something like "Spirit of Giving 0 gifts.png" and "Spirit of Giving 250 gifts.png", as these describe exactly what the image contains. | s | GrampaSwood

Demolitions image
Hi there,
Remember to include a category when uploading images. Category:Screenshot images is automatically added by the {{ScreenshotTF2}}
license and does not count. For map images, you can simply write {{subst:mapimg|Demolition}}
in the summary field when uploading, replacing 'Demolition' with the map's name. This automatically adds the right license and category (do note that it is not required to select a license from the drop-down menu when using this template). | s | GrampaSwood
