The Second Rate Sorcery is a community-created Action taunt for all classes.

When the player activates the taunt they will take out a staff with a skull on its top and a tag reading "99¢." Their character will attempt to cast a spell, fail, and put the wand away or destroy it. Some classes add slight variations on the taunt, such as Demoman slipping while casting a spell and Pyro muffling at the staff after it fails to cast.

The Second Rate Sorcery was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
