Pickups are items that can be found scattered around maps. They usually serve as powerups for the player, from the usual, such as Armor and health pickups, to the more exotic, like an item that makes the user invulnerable for thirty seconds and an item that protects the user from deadly gasses and liquids.

The item's respawn time depends on the item. For example, a Medikt will respawn much faster than a Quad Damage. This can be very useful for controlling an enemy's powerups, as it'll let the player's team deny the enemy team useful pickups.
