Creation of new sub-categories
I was thinking of creating new sub-categories for taunts. They would be:
- Loopable taunts (such as Dueling Banjo)
- Non-loopable taunts (such as Shred Alert)
- Solo (or single) taunts (such as Disco Fever)
- Dual-partner taunts (such as High Five)
- All-partner taunts (such as Mannrobics)
Of course, the names are just provisory, but that's the idea. Some taunts would fit in multiple categories. What do you think? — Tiagoquix (talk) 23:18, 13 December 2025 (UTC)
- I think it would be fine, but not sure how this category would be placed on articles because I'm not sure that manual is the way.

- That would essentially still be manually adding it and wouldn't support multiple ones, maybe something like infobox params like looping = no and partner = yes? Though I think the Mannrobics would be classified as a 'group taunt' and not an all-partner taunt.

- I think that, irrespectively of what categories we create, some taunts will inevitably fall into more than one category. For example, Mannrobics would be a "Loopable all-partner dancing taunt" (assuming we want to describe what the taunt does as well), whereas Texas Truckin' would be a "Loopable moving vehicle solo taunt". — Tiagoquix (talk) 16:34, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- Your idea of partner and looping parameters are good. I think we could take that and also add something like "short-description =" where it would be manual (e.g. Texas Truckin' would have "moving vehicle" as short description). But not sure if it would be that necessary.
For looping, we have =yes or =no, and for partner we would have =no, =yes, =group (group being all-partner). — Tiagoquix (talk) 16:37, 14 December 2025 (UTC)

- Tark suggested we use something similar to
{{Is Casual map}}.

It's on {{Map infobox}} and only adds categories.

- I believe adding info to both infoboxes and categories would be the correct move here. Initially my idea was only categories, but now I think adding to both is better. — Tiagoquix (talk) 18:51, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- This kind of stuff is generally already described in the main, which is where more specifics of the taunt should be. We'll only add categories here, really.

- Alright, can you give me an example of how can we start doing
