Pyro Cameos?
How about adding a small section in the gallery (or even a few pics in the current gallery) of the cameos that Pyro made in other non-valve games? As an example- Pyro, Spy and Heavy were featured as racing characters in the PC version of Sonic All-Star Racing. Yossef | Talk | Contributions 22:46, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- List of references. - BrazilianNut (talk) 23:15, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- I wasn’t clear, sorry for the confusion. What I meant is that perhaps adding the Pyro (or any class) model that appears in other games, to show the reader how does the pyro looks in the games in question. For instance, showing how does the Pyro looks in Killing Floor. Furthermore, perhaps doing the same thing in the List of References? Adding the character models next to the games that they appeared. Yossef | Talk | Contributions 07:00, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
- If we did this with the Pyro article, we would have to do it with the articles for all the other classes. As such, it would be better to do it in List of references, since re references are already listed there. - BrazilianNut (talk) 07:20, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
Pyro's gender
I think it's noteworthy in the Trivia section that the game's file global_actors.txt located inside tf2_misc_dir.vpk lists tf2 classes genders and for Pyro it says "male". Mido (talk) 20:46, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- Pyro's gender remains unknown until Valve reveals it, which will never happen probably · Ashe (talk) 21:09, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- This file has to do with voice lines for certain genders, such as the HL2 civilians. Nothing actually to do with the gender of Pyro.

Collective Noun for Pyros
I would like to suggest adding a Collective Noun for a group of pyros, similar to how its called a Murder of Crows.
Collective Noun suggestions: A Kindling, A Fire Hazard, An Asylum.
Angzarr Psyco (talk) 15:05, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure it's necessary, as a group of Pyros is pretty rare.
GrampaSwood (talk) 15:09, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- Well, they could be called a "drag", only because when you do see pyros together, it is to pull a sliegh (SnowVille), and a team that pulls a sleigh is called a drag. Sure! :)=

- There is no official collective noun for a group of Pyros. If the community ever agreed on a term, it would be limited to strategy pages, as it would be a community term, not an official one. - BrazilianNut (talk) 11:00, 18 June 2023 (UTC)
Nostromo Napalmer/Rainblower discrepancy
Both the Nostromo's and the Rainblower have small differences from stock, such as taunts, pyrovision, and instant Scouts with a certain set of cosmetics. Why is the Rainblower apart from stock but the Nostromo's isn't? — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Adeeta (talk) • (contribs) 2023-08-29, 18:30 UTC

- Assuming you mean the weapon table, this is because the notes on the right have to include the Pyrovision stat, as that is active at all times. The only time the Napalmer is different is in a very rare scenario during Full Moon or Halloween. This effect is also a set bonus and not tied to the actual weapon.

Kill Icons
Hey doesn't the Dragon's Fury have two kill icons? The one here and one without fire. I remember seeing it in game and the amount of Dragon's Fury Pyros I've seen is crazy. CrazyCat2010 (talk) 23:31, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
Hot Hand Damage
If it deals 2 consecutive slaps, shouldn't the damage be listed so it represents the total damage, not just the damage of a single slap? Other pages would list it the same way as well. I'd add it myself if I had the perms, so I'm just putting this here for anyone who can edit.
Base: 28x2 (56)
Crit: 84x2 (168)
Nokolo (talk) 01:25, 24 November 2025 (UTC)
Agree. – BrazilianNut (talk) 22:11, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
I now have the perms to edit the page, but I can't find the table to edit the damage on the Hot Hand. Does anyone know how to do the changes I listed above?
Nokolo (talk) 03:22, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- The table is a template, meaning it isn't actually present on this page but is instead a page of its own. This page only has the title of said template, which causes it to appear. Here is the template page itself:

Yes Idk if it matters cause you already got approval but yes. Especially considering the fact that if you receive crits, mini-crits, and or have any debuff afflicting a target in-between slaps the second swing will receive that damage amplifier.

Degreaser Afterburn Damage?
So the Degreaser says "-66% afterburn damage penalty", yeeet it says 1/sec. x 10 secs. If it was 1 damage per second, that'd be a 87.5% afterburn damage penalty? Does anyone know which one it is?
Nokolo (talk) 03:40, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- The afterburn damage should be 2 / sec, not 1 / sec. It's actually 1 per tick, but someone must've taken that as 1 per second instead. The afterburn stat is correct.

- The Mini-Crit damage indicates it's a 66% reduction.

(Suggestion) Homewrecker (& by proxy Maul) Building Damage listing
Currently the Homewrecker just shows its Damage against Players, an intentionally unintended use.
Base: 49
Crit: 146
But wouldn't it be useful if it also showed the increased Damage against Buildings, since that's an important and integral stat in the Homewrecker? It'd be very convenient to be able to check its against-Building Damage at a glance, e.g.
Vs. Player Base: 49
Vs. Building Base: 130
Vs. Player Crit: 146
Vs. Building Crit: 390
It doesn't have to be worded this specific way, if anyone has another phrasing they think would look better I'm all for it, I'm just putting it out there that having the numbers listed might be handy.
Nokolo (talk) 00:38, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Many damage penalties also apply to buildings and not just players, so that would require us to add them for pretty much all the damage penalty-having weapons. These are standardised templates meant to simply show a quick overview and not a detailed list of everything. Buildings also don't take Crit damage.
