This is a proposed style guideline for Trivia articles. Please see the talk page for discussion.

Trivia sections are small sections of an article where interesting facts can be kept about a topic.

Guidelines

These are only proposed guidelines. See the talk page to discuss changes.
  • Trivia items should not duplicate information in the infobox or article.
  • Trivia items should not be obvious to anyone who has played Team Fortress 2 for a reasonable amount of time.
  • Trivia items should be interesting and/or helpful. Items that satisfy neither of these are not worth mentioning.

Do not

  • Do not post lists as trivia, e.g., characteristics that are shared with a few other items (such as Jigglebones).
  • Do not post obscure or ridiculous references.
  • Do not post images or videos unless absolutely necessary to prove a point. It is better to link to a video than to embed it for trivia.
  • Do not state the obvious. If something is detailed elsewhere in the article, it need not be repeated in the Trivia section.
  • Do not post minor visual glitches/bugs (such as clipping issues) as trivia.
