NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Association) is a wholesale company that creates and sells collectable toys and figures based on numerous licenses, from Harry Potter to The Nightmare Before Christmas.
NECA produced a line of Team Fortress 2 action figures and plush dolls, as well figures and replica props based on other Valve titles such as Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Half-Life.

13″ Tall TF2 Plushes
A Soldier version was also shown at the New York Toy Fair, but has never been officially released.
7″ Deluxe Action Figure – Series 1
Each figure comes with a DLC code for a genuine hat, and is limited to 10,000 pieces. The packaging is labelled for each individual number. Both series 1 figures carry a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $23.99. The first two were released on January 28, 2013.
The Pyro figure includes the Pyro's Flame Thrower and Fire Axe. Purchasers of the RED Pyro figure receive a code for a Genuine Brigade Helm, while purchasers of the BLU variant receive a Genuine Respectless Rubber Glove.
The Demoman figure includes his Grenade Launcher and Stickybomb Launcher, a spare hand, and another hand holding his Bottle. Purchasers of the RED Demoman action figure receive a code for a Genuine Glengarry Bonnet, while purchasers of the BLU variant receive a Genuine Scotsman's Stove Pipe.
7″ Action Figure – Series 2
Series 2 was released in December 2013.
The Heavy figure includes his Minigun and Shotgun, along with a spare pair of hands. Purchasers of the RED Heavy action figure receive a code for a Genuine Officer's Ushanka, while purchasers of the BLU variant receive a Genuine Tough Guy's Toque.
The Soldier figure includes his Rocket Launcher and Shovel, along with three spare hands. Purchasers of the RED Soldier action figure receive a code for a Genuine Tyrant's Helm, while purchasers of the BLU variant receive a Genuine Stainless Pot.
7″ Action Figure – Series 3
Series 3 was released in April 2014.
The Engineer figure includes his Wrench, a Pistol, and an openable Toolbox. The BLU variant has its toolbox incorrectly colored red. Purchasers of the RED Engineer action figure receive a code for a Genuine Engineer's Cap, while purchasers of the BLU variant receive a Genuine Texas Ten Gallon.
The Spy figure includes his Revolver, Knife, a Sapper, and a spare hand. Purchasers of the RED Spy action figure receive a code for a Genuine Backbiter's Billycock, while purchasers of the BLU variant receive a Genuine Camera Beard.
The BLU variants of series 3 (dubbed series 3.5) were delayed for unknown reasons. They were released in July 2018.
7″ Action Figure - Series 4
Series 4 was released in October 2018.
The Scout figure includes his Scattergun, a Pistol, and a Bat. Purchasers of the RED Scout action figure receive a code for a Genuine Bonk Helm, while purchasers of the BLU Scout Action Figure receive a code for a Genuine Ye Olde Baker Boy.
The Medic figure includes his Medi Gun, Syringe Gun, and Bonesaw. Purchasers of the RED Medic action figure receive a code for a Genuine Otolaryngologist's Mirror, while purchasers of the BLU Medic action figure receive a code for a Genuine Vintage Tyrolean.
The Sniper figure includes his Sniper Rifle only. Purchasers of the RED Sniper action figure receive a code for a Genuine Master's Yellow Belt, while purchasers of the BLU Sniper action figure receive a code for a Genuine Professional's Panama.
The BLU variants of series 4 are currently unreleased.
Trivia
- Both variants of the Soldier feature what appears to be the Gentle Manne's Service Medal, albeit inaccurately colored gray.
- Strangely, the BLU Engineer figure has his head, forearms and left hand cast in a semi-transparent plastic, usually reserved for NECA's more realistic characters.
- The box for the Sniper figure claims the Sniper's first name is "Mick" (instead of Mun-dee).
- The packaging mostly includes the class portraits from the Main Menu, however, some classes include some notable differences:
- The Scout holds the Bat in a pose similar to the class selection screen instead of his Scattergun.
- The Heavy has a different facial expression.
- The Spy holds the Knife instead of his Revolver, in a different way compared to his Winter-themed portrait.
- All classes also include a BLU team variant that is never seen on the Main Menu, other than the Soldier from the End of the Line Update.
