Unused versus Bug sounds for Original and Machina

The reloading sounds are set up to work for both the Original and Machina. They're only unused in the sense they don't actually work. Both are set up properly (or... well I guess not properly, but they made a good attempt), they just don't work for whatever reason. This makes them a bug, rather than unused content. Balladofwindfishes 09:53, 1 August 2012 (PDT)

ok, I thought those sound don't work because valve didn't add it. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 16:31, 1 August 2012 (PDT)

Huo Long Heatmaker Trivia

Hi, I see you are removing the underwater trivia, may I ask you why? I just did a screenshot though. http://steamcommunity.com/id/Frozen_Fire_The_Elementalist/screenshot/577837481867017314 Frozen Fire 06:30, 4 August 2012 (PDT)

Huh, but I don't think it should be trivia because Fire must not work underwater. Put in Bug section is better. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 08:53, 4 August 2012 (PDT)

About the Cow Mangler 5000

I was just wondering about your decision to remove the Cow Mangler 5000 bug that I added (reflected projectiles become crits rather than mini-crits) on the grounds that it is a mechanic and not a bug. I believe it should be considered a bug because it violates two mechanics. First, all reflected projectiles are supposed to be mini-crits; the Cow Mangler 5000 projectiles becoming crits clearly violates that mechanic. Second, the Cow Mangler 5000 is not supposed to be capable of being crit-boosted; this bug is a clear violation of that mechanic. I would like to know your reasoning for considering it a mechanic. CyclopsDragon 13:21, 5 August 2012 (PDT)

Because it was too overpowered before. The reflect crits is another nerf thing that Valve actually add but it didn't enough so Valve added more nerf like 5% slower reload times, Can't be crit-boosted and 10% damage penalty. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 13:30, 5 August 2012 (PDT)
That's understandable, but then why doesn't it appear in the tooltip or in any of the patch notes? If it was an intended mechanic, then surely it would be shown somewhere. CyclopsDragon 21:10, 5 August 2012 (PDT)
Some attribute are hidden, like original fire from center. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 22:17, 5 August 2012 (PDT)
True, but that's a much more minor attribute than this. And besides, firing from the center is implied by the weapon's viewmodel. CyclopsDragon 17:10, 6 August 2012 (PDT)
Or 20% damage to building in Pomson 6000, It's one of another hidden attribute. And about "why doesn't it appear in the tooltip or in any of the patch notes?". About patch note, nope because it reflect as crit since it added to the game. And toltips, it's in Damage and Function Times. Bad edits?

You've recently "warned" me to not make any "bad edits". That is completely irrelevant since all I've done was constructive and necessary for some articles. How on earth can you define those as "bad edits"?

In some pages like Backwards Ballcap, you added unnecessary part. And some of your edits are terrible. Also, sign you comment when in talk page using ~~~~ before post. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 18:14, 9 August 2012 (PDT)

Don't Get Me Wrong....

There is in no way at all I am trying to be rude about this, but speculation has been added that has not been removed on actual pages, like Grey Mann's page having a "theory" that the man in the torn middle is him. A likely theory, but still, that's speculation. How is it that one thing like that goes unnoticed, but when a discussion speculation comes into play it's a whole different story? FenixChief 12:23, 15 August 2012 (PDT)

Your words look like suggestions/advice more than discussion. That's why I told you to talk at Steam Users' Forum. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 12:46, 15 August 2012 (PDT)
I wasn't really trying to suggest, really adding more of a theory, so to speak. I've done this before during the Uber Update concerning The Family Business, and I was never addressed as so. User FenixChief Steam pic.png FenixChief 13:00, 15 August 2012 (PDT)
Could we bring this Talk over to my Talk page? I'd like for this to be more within my perimeters and not a burden on your page. User FenixChief Steam pic.png FenixChief 14:13, 15 August 2012 (PDT)

Red Tape Recorder bug

You reverted me in this edit, and I don't want to start an edit war, so I feel like I should explain where I'm coming from. The normal Sapper does damage to the buildings it's placed on, whereas the Red Tape Recorder does not—it specifically has a "-100% Sapper Damage Penalty" attribute, so a crit boost would have no effect on it. If it did glow when crit boosted, that would be a bug. Not glowing is the expected behaviour of a weapon that cannot crit. dendodge 16:47, 20 August 2012 (PDT)

I noted that Normal Sapper glow when crit-boosted, even it doesn't effect anything. That's meaning Red-Tape should glow when crit-boosted, but Red-Tape doesn't. So That's a bug. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 17:01, 20 August 2012 (PDT)
Why does it have to be a bug with the Red Tape Recorder? It sounds to me like a bug with the normal Sapper if it can glow despite not being able to crit. Presumably, somewhere in the schema the Sapper is listed as dealing damage (which it does), but not as not being able to crit, so it can glow. Whereas the RTR is presumably listed as dealing no damage, so it never glows. Whatever the cause, it sounds like a bug with the Sapper, not the Red Tape Recorder. dendodge 17:18, 20 August 2012 (PDT)
I don't think it's stock sapper bug. CM5K was able to crit-boosted before but it didn't glow even mini-crit. So that isn't bug? Many unable to deal crit damage glow when crit-boosted like Buff Banner. So it's red-tape bug. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 18:05, 20 August 2012 (PDT)
"Lots of other things are broken, so it must be a bug with the non-broken thing." If a weapon deals no damage, it shouldn't glow when crit boosted, because that's misleading. The Red Tape Recorder isn't buggy just because it displays the expected behaviour while other weapons don't. The other weapons are the buggy ones. dendodge 18:19, 20 August 2012 (PDT)
So that means Bonk! Atomic Punch, Crit-a-Cola, Mad Milk, Rocket Jumper, Buff Banner, Battalion's Backup, Concheror, Sticky Jumper, Sandvich, Dalokohs Bar, Buffalo Steak Sandvich, Fishcake, Build/Destroy PDA, Medi Gun, Quick-Fix, Kritzkrieg, Jarate, Disguise Kit and Sapper are bug? I think only Red-Tape is only thing that not glow but another do. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 19:47, 20 August 2012 (PDT)

Scout and MvM

FYI the bit you took off the Scout article was about Scout's innate abilities in MvM, not about "strategies".

According to your reasoning, might as well remove the double capture rate info. Kid Of The Century 01:08, 21 August 2012 (PDT)

It's innate ability only MvM mode. It should not note on Character page unlike the double capture rate that is innate ability in many mode. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 03:44, 21 August 2012 (PDT)
That's not the point: the purpose of the article is, among the other things, to illustrate the class' abilities, the number of game modes they're applicable doesn't matter. Anyway, I wrote about this on the Scout's talk page, we can discuss this further over there.Kid Of The Century 10:09, 21 August 2012 (PDT)
Alright then, I'm not serious about it too much, Just my suggestion that it should not on that page. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 10:24, 21 August 2012 (PDT)

Reverting edits

Hi there. I just noticed that you reverted someone's edit, but didn't supply a reason in the summary. Keep in mind that it's very important to tell the person why their edit got reverted, as failing to do so often leaves the other person confused and sometimes very angry (and occasionally they rage-quit the wiki). Just keep this in mind for the future, thanks! MogDog66User MogDog66 Service Metal No WhiteSpace.png 20:24, 26 August 2012 (PDT)

Because I beware about this, I got this warning before. And that's why I usually didn't supply the reason. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 05:05, 27 August 2012 (PDT)
I'm going to ask again to please give a reason when you're undoing someone's edit. Remember that you're basically deleting their work, and it's very important that you show them the professional courtesy of a well written reason. You did get a warning about hostility, but you can take the time to write respectful summaries without being mean about it. Also make sure that the edit is actually something that needs to be undone. For example: Pognet's edit to the burning bongos. It's grammatically correct from what I see. -- Lagg Backpack Stickybomb Launcher.png 11:34, 5 September 2012 (PDT)

Stay here, because...

I'm qualified to say that because i had some bad days in the past, and i thought the whole world is against me. But for real some opinions are not really important. Two tiny persons doesn't picture the whole story of Hinaomi, and they are not the world opinion. Just stay and continue your good work and the opinions will change, and even more people will back you up with good and strong points which speak for you. Don't make the same mistake as myself to be a bit (<understatement) of a drama queen. δ³Σx² 09:35, 1 September 2012 (PDT)

Don't make me wrong (reply)

My apologies for undoing your edit - I thought that you had removed the question entirely, instead of removing it. — Armisael (T · C) 22:38, 1 September 2012 (PDT)

Huntsman Bug

Hello, I am curious why you removed my bug post regarding the quiver on the Huntsman page, because you did not leave an explanation. Thanks, Wibbles. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wibbles (talk) • (contribs) 16:53, 2 September 2012

It's reload animation problem, and if it's bug, another page will also have it in the bug too but that bug happen with Flare Gun, Detonator, Scorch Shot, and all Sniper Rifle. So that means it's not bug, just animation problem. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 10:31, 2 September 2012 (PDT)
Please refer to the style guide to understand why this was removed. Thanks. User Wingless Winged Signature.png 10:37, 2 September 2012 (PDT)

Just Wondering...

Why did you remove my question on the weapon demonstration project talk page? I dont see any reason why it needed to be deleted. Ghostchicken8 17:50, 2 September 2012 (PDT)

I didn't remove, just move it to the bottom of the page but I forget to delete the undo comment. Your question still on talk page. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) - (contributions) 18:13, 2 September 2012 (PDT)

Ok then. Sorry to bother you. Ghostchicken8 18:24, 2 September 2012 (PDT)
