When the “secondary grenade” key is hit, a second passes, then the player releases six caltrops in a circle pattern. When an enemy walks on a caltrop, they will suffer a small amount of damage and their maximum speed will decrease (equivalent to a legshot from the [[Sniper Rifle (Classic)|Sniper Rifle]]). The effects of a caltrop can be stacked.  The person that released the Caltrops can be hurt by their own Caltrops and will suffer from the maximum speed penalty an enemy would.
