The Single-Barrel Shotgun is a weapon in the classic Team Fortress games. It is used by most classes in the classic games. It fires a very tight cluster of pellets and uses one shell per shot.

Made for speed

One of the weapon's main advantages is it's firing and reloading speed. The fire rate is so fast, that the player doesn't need to wait the pump between shots to be completed. It also has a fast reload time.

Last resort

  • Although the weapon is pretty fast and easily maneuverable, it deals a low amount of damage compared to other in-game weapons. (4 per pellet and 22 if all pellets connect.)
  • The Quake Team Fortress has falloff damage, meaning that damage decreases over range. This is not the case in Team Fortress Classic, where it can be used to deal initial damage or finish off an enemy from range.
