Festive weapons are a special classification of items. They are signature Stock weapons for each class wrapped in Template:W. They were added in the Australian Christmas 2011 update and can only be found in Naughty Winter Crates.
They function exactly the same as normal weapons, with the exception of being wrapped in blinking lights. This is purely a cosmetic change and has no effect on gameplay. The multi-colored lights differ between teams. The RED team has red, yellow and green lights whereas BLU has blue, yellow and green lights.
Festive items are available in both Unique and Strange quality.
Notes
- Any strange variant tracks the same stat(s) it would if it were a normal strange weapon. A strange festive Medi Gun tracks ÜberCharges and kill assists, every other Festive weapon tracks kills.
Bugs
- The Festive Stickybomb Launcher's backpack icon shows it as wrapped in multi-colored lights, though the model is wrapped with white lights in-game.
