Revision as of 00:42, 5 January 2018

Finishing a Two Cities Tour might even get you one of the most exceedingly, some might say preposterously rare items in the game: the Australium weapon. (Hushed silence. Then, from the back, a lone slow clap. Then: thunderous applause.)

Strange Flame Thrower - Kills: 0
Extinguishing teammates restores 20 health
Alt-Fire: Release a blast of air that pushes enemies and projectiles and extinguish allies that are on fire.

Australium weapons are a very rare classification of weapons introduced in the Two Cities Update. Similar to Botkiller weapons, they are unique reskins of specific weapons and have a low chance to be awarded upon completing a full Advanced or Expert Tour of Duty in Mann vs. Machine mode. Built from the material of the same name, the custom golden skin is purely cosmetic; despite being constructed from the same element as the Golden Wrench and Saxxy, only the Golden Frying Pan causes the same Australium statue ragdolls. All Australium weapons are of Strange quality. Killing someone with a critical hit with an Australium weapon displays a golden glow behind its kill icon.
