KnightComp
KnightComp is a variation of the 6v6 competitive format, revolving around Demoknights, as well as the optional use of the more traditional Soldier and Medic. The tournament is intended to bring a unique spin on the 6v6 format, that allows for players who favor Demoknight strategy to compete on the same level as traditional tournaments.
The tournament also awards in-game medals to players based on their positions.

Class Limits
Classes are limited as such:
There are no class limits on Demoknights, and players may choose to run up to a full team of six Demoknights. However, should players choose to use them, a maximum of one Soldier and Medic per team is allowed, along with most of each of their weapons, save for the B.A.S.E. Jumper and Vaccinator, respectively.
Weapon blacklist
The majority of weapons for each class are unrestricted, allowing for a large amount player choice in their playstyles; especially Demoknights, as a key part of their team. The weapon blacklist is as follows:
Class | Slot | Item |
---|---|---|
Secondary | ![]() Stickybomb Launcher | |
![]() Scottish Resistance | ||
![]() Quickiebomb Launcher | ||
![]() Sticky Jumper | ||
Secondary | ![]() Vaccinator | |
Primary (Demoman) Secondary (Soldier) |
![]() B.A.S.E. Jumper |
Stickybomb Launchers of all types are blacklisted to force players to equip Demoknight shields instead. The Vaccinator is blacklisted because of the explosive-based nature of the format, and the B.A.S.E. Jumper is blacklisted because of the lack of hitscan weapons, as well as the fact that Demoknights would not be able to damage a parachuting Soldier.
