中世纪模式(Medival Mode)是一个于澳大利亚圣诞节活动以及2010年12月17日补丁中被加入到《军团要塞 2》的游戏模式。
目前,在中世纪模式中只有一张官方的地图——DeGroot Keep。游戏模式是较为独特的,模式不允许玩家选择他们所有的武器配置。模式设置了一张列表来限制武器,这使玩家把主要精力放在近战武器上。游戏模式的目标与控制点模式相似,在游戏中有着一定数量的控制点,进攻的团队必须占领它们,而防守的团队必须防御它们。在目前仅有的一张官方地图(中世纪模式)中,进攻者们必须占领前两个控制点后才能开启通向最后一个控制点的道路。当然,如果在限定的时间内未占领最后一个控制点,道路随后将关闭并且所有的控制点会恢复到未被占领的状态。
游戏机制
- 玩家们被限制使用近战武器,以及一套基于兵种机制的图形样式和活力的例外配置。
- *这个形式的第三人称与其它的不同,它将使用者的准心放在了肩膀上方而不是头的上方。

聊天分析器
在中世纪地图中,语言分析器会根据设立的规则自动并随机的将玩家之间的对话文本自动修改成更像古英语的文本。
