The Scout upon seeing Pyro's new weapon

The Sucker is a scrapped primary weapon for the Pyro. It would replace the compression blast with a suction force that would move enemies closer to the Pyro. The Sucker was scrapped after it proved to have a host of technical issues, especially with the prediction system, causing the victim to have disorienting view stuttering along with the prediction system being broken for a whole group of players as long as the Sucker was being used. Additionally, the Sucker would make up for one of Pyro's weaknesses (only being effective in close range) by giving them a tool to move players into the effective range, discouraging team play by giving the Pyro the ability to solve their own weakness rather than relying on teammates to cover those weaknesses.
