All men gave some. Some men gave more than some.
The Soldier on generous giving

The Pallet of Crates is an action item that, when used, gives between 1 to 2 crates to up to 23 other people on the same server as the user. The Pallet of Crates can be used once, and will notify every other player on the server of the user's generosity. Crates are chosen from the pool of crates currently available in the game, as if a user were to randomly obtain a crate.

The Pallet of Crates functions similar to the Pile o' Gifts in the fact that they both give items to the first 23 members on the server. However, the Pallet of Crates does not take crates from the user's inventory.

If a server has a player limit greater than 24, a crate will be given to the first 23 players that connected to the server. Similarly, if the server has a player limit less than 24, it will only give out 1 to 2 crates to each player. The user of the tool will never receive a crate from their own Pallet of Crates.
