I told ya don't touch that darn thing.
The Engineer on voodoo-cursed items

The Pile of Curses was an action item for all classes. It is a heap of glowing, green ephemeral ash dispersed with spooky entities such as a skeleton's arm, a novelty bass and an angry eye. It could be crafted by combining 7 Voodoo-Cursed Items.

When opened, it displayed a 5 second countdown and played sound effects, similarly to a Mann Co. Supply Crate. It then awarded the player one of the 9 Voodoo-Cursed Souls, occasionally with an Eerie Crate or a Halloween Spell. Any souls received had a chance of bearing the Haunted quality.
