These gloves deal identical damage to enemies as the [[Fists]]. When the Heavy kills an enemy with the K.G.B., however, he is guaranteed [[Critical hit]]s for the next 5 seconds, and can kill additional enemies with the weapon to lengthen the boost time. This power-up crosses over with other weapons allowing players to switch to weapons such as the [[Shotgun]] to deal further damage at the cost of losing boost time through the switch animation. The K.G.B. has a 20% slower swinging speed, which coupled with the Heavy's slow movement speed makes this tactic risky.

Similar to the Fists, when the Heavy dies with his Killing Gloves of Boxing out he drops his Minigun, which can be picked up for ammo. The Critical hit animation with the K.G.B is also the same as the Fists; a right handed uppercut.

The Heavy

The Killing Gloves of Boxing (K.G.B.) are the unlockable melee weapons for the Heavy class. They appear as large, smooth, padded boxing gloves in team colours.

These gloves deal the same damage on hit as the Fists, but have a 20% longer swing time and thus less potential to follow up hits. When the Heavy kills an enemy with the K.G.B., however, he is guaranteed Critical hits for the next 5 seconds, and can kill additional enemies with the weapon to refresh the boost time. This boost effects other weapons, allowing the Heavy to switch to other weapons such as the Shotgun to deal further damage at the cost of losing boost time through the switch animation.
