The Festivizer is a single-use tool that allows the user to Festivize either a Decorated weapon or a select few other weapons. It is represented by a coil of Christmas lights all Festivized items share, a roll of duct tape, and what seems to be a stapler gun.
A Festivized weapon retains its original quality (e.g. a Strange Brick House Minigun would stay in Strange quality after the tool is used) apart from Normal weapons, which are changed to the Unique quality. Alongside the aesthetic changes, the prefix "Festivized" is placed in front of the weapon's name, its backpack icon is changed to include festive lights, and purple text with the word "Festivized" is added to its description.
Originally, the Festivizer was named the Gun Mettle and Tough Break Festivizer, and was only usable on Decorated weapons from those respective collections. They could only be found alongside uncrated items when unboxing either a Smissmas 2015 Festive Gift, Pyroland or Warbird weapon case. Owners of a Tough Break Campaign Pass would also find them through random drops. These have been deactivated since December 21, 2016 Patch.
