General strategy
- Remember that stopping the other team from pushing their cart is just as important as pushing your own cart.
- There is a limit to how fast the cart can go; once you reach that point try to focus on stopping the other team.
- Remember that you can use your own cart as cover.
- A well-placed Sentry can easily diminish the health of the enemy cartpushers; help secure a victory for your team.
- Slowly killing the enemy is not a wise decision because the Payload can heal nearby team members.
Class-specific strategy
Scout
- Remember you can push the cart twice as fast.
Soldier
- Use the Pain Train to push the cart twice as fast.
Pyro
- The cart acts as a mobile Dispenser; crouch jump on top of the cart and lay waste to the other team.
Demoman
- Use your stickybombs to perform area-denial on the cart.
- Use the Pain Train to push the cart twice as fast.
Heavy
- The cart acts as a mobile Dispenser; crouch jump on top of the cart and lay waste to the other team.
Engineer
- Place Sentry Guns along the enemies track to slow there advance.
- A well placed Sentry Gun can both help your team advance and slow the opposing team.
Medic
- Stick to the back to minimize being killed while healing your teammates.
Sniper
