This article is about Community Atoll strategy.

General strategy

  • Sticking to high ground can help you spot Zombies more easily and make it harder for Zombies to get to you.
  • If all is lost, you can hide out in the water. Be aware of the glow from Critical hits if you are the last human alive.

Class-specific strategy

  • Because of the Scout's low health and the lack of hallways in Atoll, try to take advantage of his increased mobility and jump from rooftop to rooftop.

  • The Pyro is a good choice for crowd control as their airblast can knock zombies off course giving your team more time to finish them off or run to safety.

  • Use your Pounce ability to get onto rooftops and attempt to cripple enemy defenses.
  • Due to this map taking place mostly in the open outside, the Pounce ability's stomp damage can come in play much more frequently. Try to pick off key targets, such as Medics, by engaging with your stomp ability first.
