Texan Trickshot publicity blurb

The Texan Trickshot is a community-created special taunt for the Engineer.

When activated, the Engineer pulls out a revolver, spins it around several times in different positions while saying a phrase, then raises it and fires, dealing 500 damage to any player slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be in front of him within a range of 500 Hammer units (roughly 9.5 meters / 31.25 foot). He then tosses the gun to his left hand, blows over its barrel, and puts it in his ammo pouch.

The Texan Trickshot was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Bugs

  • If the player is holding a weapon with on-hit or on-kill effects, such as the Widowmaker's metal gained on hit, its effects are activated when hitting an enemy with the Texan Trickshot.[2]
  • The Texan Trickshot is listed as having a hidden 50% knockback taken penalty in the item schema, but is non-functional.[4]
  • When an enemy is killed with this taunt, the blood particles come from the Engineer performing it, instead of the victim.
