This article is about Community Burghausen strategy.
Note: It is recommended to read the main Burghausen article first to become familiar with the names of key map locations used in this article.
General strategy
- When defending on the last two stages, RED's spawn room is extremely close to the point. If you are defending, you can slip out of combat to replenish your health.
Class-specific strategies
Scout
Soldier
Pyro
Demoman
- The Ullapool Caber can be an effective weapon for defending the last two control points since you can charge out of spawn, hit any attackers with a boosted explosion, and retreat to the resupply cabinet.
Heavy
- The Killing Gloves of Boxing's Critical hits can be effectively chained on a map of this size, allowing for potentially devastating combos.
Engineer
Medic
Sniper
- The battlements beside the point provide an excellent vantage point over the battlefield while being difficult for enemies to reach, since they would have to go past the point where the rest of your team is likely to be.
- The balcony near control point A provides a great view of the battlefield, is hard to reach, and it is possible to quickly flee to safety and a resupply locker.
Spy
- When defending the first control point, consider jumping from the walls to either side of the point to land behind unsuspecting attackers.
