General Strategy (All Classes)

  • While your team is in the Voting Area, make sure you are discussing what perk to pick for your team in team chat and not global chat, as that could reveal your team's plans to the enemy team.
    • This can also be used as a reverse psychology trick, "accidentally" posting which perks you're going to pick to throw off the other team.
  • If your team has chosen Extra Provisions, consider requesting a Medic, especially if none are currently on your team, so the group can fully benefit from the perk.

Class-specific strategy

  • The Fan O'War's ability to Marked For Death enemies on hit, combined with the Conversion perk, make for a deadly combination that turns all Mini-Crit damage dealt to an enemy into a Critical hit.
  • You can double jump over and on top of the Rocks to cross the Gates and head to the control point.

  • The Concheror has a much larger health boost with Extra Provisions, giving you far more health than usual.
  • Combined with the Stronghold perk, the Battalion's Backup can give even more damage resistance to your team.

  • You can flare jump over and on top of the Rocks to cross the Gates and head to the control point.

  • As your primary weapons chew up a lot of ammo, the Ammo Reserve can come in handy for situations where you are low on ammo.
  • As the slowest class in the game, the Haste perk can give you some extra movement speed, letting you escape tight situations more efficiently, should you have adequate support and a clear escape route.

  • Combined with the Conversion perk, Jarate can be very effective, especially around chokepoints and crowded areas, as the normal Mini-Crits are turned into full Critical hits.
  • The Precision perk can make the Huntsman a much deadlier weapon. With its relatively large hitbox and already fast projectile speed, the Precision's increase in speed can make the projectile a lot harder to dodge.
