The Security Shades are a community-created miscellaneous item for the Heavy. It is a pair of black-tinted sunglasses with a gray frame.

Update history

July 1, 2011 Patch

  • The Security Shades were added in game.

July 12, 2011 [Item schema update]

  • The item can now be crafted.

Bugs

Trivia

  • The Security Shades and the Copper's Hard Top were created and submitted alongside one another.[3] They were intended to be a single item but were separated into two by Valve.[4]
