The Purity Fist is a miscellaneous item for the Heavy. It is a heavily-augmented biomechanical limb that replaces the Heavy's left arm, but makes no change to the melee damage dealt.
It is awarded in Genuine quality to players pre-ordering Deus Ex: Human Revolution before August 23, 2011.

Update history
August 18, 2011 Patch (Manno-Technology Bundle)
- The Purity Fist was added to the game.
Bugs
- Like the Essential Accessories, Rogue's Col Roule, and Pip-Boy, the Purity Fist is invisible in first-person view.
- The Purity Fist clips with all melee weapons, other than the Fists, in third-person view.
Trivia
- The Purity Fist is a pun on Purity First, a radical anti-augmentation group in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
- The item was originally designed by LaroLaro. He ran out of time in modeling it, so Valve developed the item using his concept art.
- On the pre-order picture it is impossible for the heavy to wear the purity fist and the Deus Specs since you can only wear one Misc item.
