Now this is a knife!
The Sniper

The Bushwacka is a community-made melee weapon for the Sniper. It is an enormous Template:W with a serrated spine, a small hole near the back of the blade, and a wooden handle with gold pommel and guard.

When attacking with this weapon in a situation where it would normally deliver a mini-crit, such as against a Jarate-sodden foe or when buffed via the Buff Banner, it will instead perform a critical hit. On the other hand, the Sniper will have an additional 20% vulnerability to fire, making the Pyro a deadlier adversary than before.

The kill icon for the Bushwacka was contributed by Template:Steam profile link.

Trivia

  • The caption supplied with the original publicity poster which read "Now THAT's a knife", is a reference to the 1986 movie Crocodile Dundee in which the Australian crocodile hunter Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee pulls out a large bowie knife and says "Now THAT's a knife".
  • A bushwacker is a term that refers to someone who spends a long time in "the bush". The bush refers to rural, undeveloped land or country areas, especially in Australia, the Sniper's homeland.
