Yeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaw!!!
The Engineer on thrilling robotic prostheses

Upon taunting with the Gunslinger equipped, the Engineer pulls a rip-cord from his mechanical prosthetic, revving the hand of his Gunslinger up to vicious speeds, after which he thrusts it forward (with a malevolent smile), shredding any enemy player slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be within reach at the time. The taunt inflicts several 1-damage hits and stuns the victim before inflicting a final blow which deals over 450 damage, instantly killing any class that isn't invulnerable at the time.

Like other taunts, the Organ Grinder can be performed during Humiliation as a last-ditch effort to defend oneself or to take out an enemy on the winning team barreling into the spawn room, as well during Stalemate.

Damage

  • 14 1-damage hits which inflict a stun effect, followed by a final hit for 450+ damage.

Function times

  • Taunt Duration: 4 seconds

Times are listed in seconds, and determined by community testing.

Trivia

  • This taunt, along with the Medic's Spinal Tap, are the only taunt attacks without an accompanying achievement.
  • If an enemy is killed by the hand's spinning they will ragdoll, but if they are killed by the removal of the hand, they will gib.
  • Unlike most other taunt attacks, Organ Grinder does not hit based on the enemy player's position relative to the taunt animation- to hit, the target must be on the line indicated by the Engineer's crosshairs at the start of the taunt. As a result, the taunt can be aimed in any direction, including straight up or down. Showdown is the only other taunt that functions this way.
