The Pyro on customized tools

The Powerjack is a melee weapon for the Pyro. It appears as an antique automobile jack with a team colored car battery strapped to its base with heavy, yellow rubber bands.

This weapon deals 25% more damage to enemies than the default Fire Axe, but does not randomly deal critical hits. Upon killing an enemy with this weapon, the player will be awarded 75 health.

Should the player's health reach, equal, or exceed 100% upon killing an enemy, the remaining health will be applied as an overheal, giving the user up to a maximum of 260 health. This extra health depletes over time, in the same manner as a standard overheal.

Note: The second blueprint simply makes a Pyro's melee weapon; there is still a chance of getting the Axtinguisher, Homewrecker, Back Scratcher, or Sharpened Volcano Fragment instead. There will be a 20% chance of crafting this item using the second blueprint.

  • The kill icon does not match up exactly with the weapon model; the crank on the car jack is not on the same side with the battery straps.
  • In world/third person view, the crank will clip through the Pyro's right hand.
  • While taunting with this weapon, the Pyro's right elbow clips through the head of the battery.
