The Scout

The Noise Maker is an action item that was introduced during the Scream Fortress update. When equipped in an action slot and used, a noise is played to all the other players on a server. Most Noise Makers have multiple unique sounds that can randomly play when used. The Stabby Noise maker is currently the only exception to this rule, as it only has one possible sound.

Each Noise Maker can be used 25 times before it is removed from the Backpack.

Noise Makers

Scream Fortress

Halloween Noise Makers could only be purchased from the Mann Co. Store during the Scream Fortress event. There are nine Noise Makers, including one which is unused.

Trivia

  • The "Stabby" Noise Maker sound is a reference to the famous "Shower Scene" from the 1960 psychological thriller Template:W.
  • The Template:W is a traditional Japanese musical instrument, and is also the national instrument of Japan.
