Previous Changes
- In the first part of the patch the Iron Curtain was marked as craftable and could be found via the item drop system. The second patch on this day removed these attributes. All items crafted were then marked as untradeable.
Bugs
- The Iron Curtain has a quick switch effect between weapons by ignoring the spin-down time. Considering that the Iron Curtain is a promotional item, this is likely to be an unintended side-effect.
- The bullet flash coming from the end of the Iron Curtain is further out than the actual end.
Trivia
- The Iron Curtain is canonically the Heavy's first Minigun before Sasha. Telltale initially revealed that the Heavy would wager Sasha in the bonus round.
- The name of this weapon is a reference to a quote from British Prime Minster Winston Churchill, in which he said the "Iron Curtain" would divide the Soviet Union's territory from the Western Democracies.
- The Iron Curtain had team-colored paint in Poker Night at the Inventory's launch trailer.
