“ | In the snowy Alaskan wilderness, they've built antenna arrays and a gigantic satellite dish. But what you don't know is it's really a DOOMSDAY DEVICE that could potentially END THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT. Blue(sic) must infiltrate the base and deliver the shutdown override codes before DEATH AND DESTRUCTION RAINS DOWN ON THE WORLD (or something).

Haarp is a community-created Attack/Defend map that was included with the Smissmas 2023 update. The map is divided into three stages; in each stage, BLU must deliver their intelligence to the active control point while RED defends. The intelligence spawns outside of BLU spawn, where it can be picked up.
Haarp was created as an entry for the 2009 TF2Maps.net A/D CTF and Payload Race Contest, and won first place in the Attack/Defend CTF category.
Haarp was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

- Catwalk Platform: A large rectangular platform with metal sheet covers on either side. There is a small ammo pack on the platform itself.
- Upper Catwalk: A catwalk from the spawn to the Maintenance Flank. It has a small room halfway through with a large health pack and a small ammo pack.
- Helicopter Pad: A large platform with a helicopter H on it, it has a stairway connecting it to the control point on the left and a set of stairs to the right that connects it to the Maintenance Flank and Upper Catwalk.
- Maintenance Flank: A flank route that leads to behind the control point.
Second control point
- Crossroad: A room with 3 exits. The left exit leads to a small room and the Catwalk, the middle exit leads to the Warehouse, and the right exit leads to a room with a one-way gate.
- Warehouse: A large room that houses the control point at the back on the right.
- Catwalk: A long catwalk that leads from one end of the Warehouse to the other. There is an enclosed space in the middle and a bridge connecting it to the one-way gate.
- RED Spawn: The RED team's spawn room. It is a cargo elevator with one exit, which leads straight to the second control point.
Stage B
First control point
- BLU Spawn: BLU's spawn room is above RED's spawn room of the first stage. It has two exits, one low to the ground on the left and one higher up on the right.
- Upper Exit: The right exit of BLU Spawn, it is a tiny building that leads out onto an elevated platform.
- Courtyard: The Courtyard is straight out of spawn, it is an open area with the Cliff Flank to the left and an uphill path to the right near the Upper Exit.
- Cliff Flank: The Cliff Flank is a narrow platform along the edge of the map, it goes under the Big Shack and ends up behind the control point.
- Small Shack: The Small Shack is right next to the first control point and contains a medium health pack and a large ammo pack.
- Big Shack: The Big Shack houses the control point.
Second control point
- Curved Tunnel: The Curved Tunnel is a tunnel with an alcove halfway through containing a medium ammo pack. It leads towards Storage Room 4815.
- Storage Room 4815: A storage room featuring a medium health pack and a small ammo pack. There are stairs leading to a platform with a one-way dropdown that has a small health kit. To the right on the platform is a doorway which leads to Reactor Room's end.
- Connector: A room that leads to Reactor Room and connects to the Curved Tunnel.
- Reactor Room: The Reactor Room is the large L-shaped room which houses the Reactor and second control point. The Office Flank is on the left, the Trench is in the middle, and the dropdown from Storage Room 4815 is on the right.
- Office Flank: A long hallway that leads into a room with a table and a telephone. It has a glassless window as well as a doorway that looks straight into the Reactor Room's final half.
- Trench: An exposed L-shaped path that leads under the entire Reactor Room. There bend is protected by a grate and there are two alcoves at the end. The alcove on the left leads to the RED Spawn.
- Reactor: The second control point under the reactor, it connects to the Trench.
- RED Spawn: A large room with a sign blocking the large door. Right outside the exit is a small garage building that leads to the Reactor Room and there are stairs on the right that go down towards the Trench.
Stage C
First control point
- BLU Spawn: The BLU Spawn is the same room as the RED Spawn from Stage B. Through the now-accessible large door are two paths, one to the left and one to the right, that both lead to the two front exits. The path on the right also has an additional corridor that leads to a side exit.
- Stairs Room: The room outside of the BLU Spawn side exit. It has a set of large stairs that lead into a small room, which then leads to the point. It also has two small exits that lead to the Main Room.
- Main Room: The Main Room is the large room outside the BLU Spawn. On the right is a wide set of stairs with glass cover that leads to the control point. Right in front of the BLU Spawn exit gates are two large server racks with TV screens that provide cover from the Upper Room.
- Upper Room: The Upper Room is the upper half of the Main Room, it houses the point and has paths from two sides leading to the middle.
- RED Spawn: The first RED Spawn. Outside the room is a sign pointing to the Upper Room, which also blocks the path to the Outside until the first point is captured.
Second control point
- Outside: After the RED Spawn is a short area outside. It has a path to the Hall as well as the Balcony.
- Hall: A long hall with a direct line of sight on the final control point of the map. It has a red carpet through the middle.
- Balcony: The Balcony is on the left side of the Hall, it features a small window that can't be shot through and a large open wall. It is opposite the Glass Room.
- Glass Room: The Glass Room is on the right side of the Hall, it has a small L-shaped glass cover on the right, stairs in the middle, and an open entrance on the left. It has a ramp leading up to a balcony.
- Desk Room: The Desk Room is the room that houses the final control point. It is a large room with glass on each side that sticks out from the rest of the building. There is no wall separating it from the Hall.
- RED Spawn: The RED Spawns are the two final spawn rooms for the RED team. They are on opposite ends of the Desk Room.
