The Ghastlier Gibus is a Halloween 2010 event item version of the Ghastly Gibus for those who earned it before Scream Fortress update. The hat sports a new decoration similar to the bat on the Horseless Headless Horsemann's belt with a black stripe near the tab. Otherwise it appears similar to the Gibus including its ability to be worn by all classes. Team Fortress 2 players after Halloween 2010 can still receive the old Ghastly Gibus hat by acquiring the achievement: "Ghastly Gibus Grab". Unlike the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask and the Halloween Masks the Ghastlier Gibus can be worn year round.
