The Fleet Commander is a community-created cosmetic item for all classes. It is a tricorn with golden edges, a black band, two feathers on the left side, and a pair of golden rings on the right side. The tricorn has a Jolly Roger on the front that differs depending on the class wearing it:
- When worn by the Scout, it features his hat and headset, as well as two crossed Bats.
- When worn by the Soldier, it features his helmet, as well as two crossed pickaxes.
- When worn by the Pyro, it features their gas mask, as well as two crossed Fire Axes.
- When worn by the Demoman, it features his beanie and eyepatch, as well as two crossed swords.
- When worn by the Heavy, it features crossed bones. The skull is also wider than the other ones.
- When worn by the Engineer, it features his hardhat and goggles, as well as two crossed Wrenches.
- When worn by the Medic, it features his glasses and fringe, as well as two crossed syringes.
- When worn by the Sniper, it features his hat and glasses, as well as two crossed Kukris.
- When worn by the Spy, it features his balaclava, as well as two crossed Knives.
This item has two styles, named "Commander" and "Captain". The "Commander" style makes the hat team-colored and the feathers white, while the "Captain" style makes the hat black and the feathers team-colored.
The Fleet Commander was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
