The Cadaver's Cranium is a headwear item for the Heavy. It was added in the Halloween update. It gives him a 'Frankenstein's Monster' type appearance. It was released with the 2010 Scream Fortress update. It can be purchased from the Mann Co. Store with no deadline, or found via random drops, or crafted using normal hat recipes (such as 3 Refined Metal).

Trivia

• Like several other Halloween hats, the Cadaver's Cranium does not have a randomly selected level when found or purchased. It's level is always 31, presumably because Halloween is on the 31st of October.
• It has been suggested that Valve adding this hat is a hint that the sixth Polycount pack will be Screwonhead's "Der Frankengear", as it feature weapons with a cheesy B-movie horror style.
