The Ground Control is a cosmetic item for the Soldier. The Ground Control replaces the soldier's helmet with a head of white hair, a pair of headphones commonly used by ground control operators, and a pair of gold rimmed aviator glasses. The soldier is also given a crescent moon red scar edged with gold on his left eye.
The hair style and headphones are a reference to Zero, a character from Konami's Metal Gear Solid who was often seen within cut scenes in the headphones.
The Ground Control was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the same name.
