The Steel Shako is a community-created cosmetic item for the Soldier. It is a robotic version of the Stout Shako. It is a tall, paintable, team-colored metal shako with a metallic black visor and three golden bolts connected by black wires. The hat appears to be fastened together with 6 nuts on the top and bottom of it.
The Steel Shako was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Typing "hideous" into the game's console will randomly load this page or the pages for one of the following cosmetics: The Graybanns, the HDMI Patch, the Soldered Sensei, the Soldier's Sparkplug, the Timeless Topper, the Well-Rounded Rifleman, or the Western Wear.
